Conference site version 3 has been launched today

Version 3 has a new layout and allows users to submit an abstract or a CEC proposal.

In order to facilitate user registration process on the conference site, all EAHIL members have already an account: they just need to request a new password in order to enter the site.

Their personal information was indeed exported from the EAHIL membership database, and then used to create users account by importing the information into the conference site.

Even if providing added value to members, this process was not 100% smooth:

  • EAHIL membership database login could not be reused
  • some diacritics were not correctly transferred

So members will have to update their profile information before being able to submit; but they will not need to wait for administrator's approval: their user account is directly active.
