A mobile app for EAHIL2012!
With the help of Guus Van den Brekel, we developed a mobile app. dedicated to EAHIL2012.
The app. will provide you with the latest information from the conference website and EAHIL social networks.
More information here http://www.eahil2012.be/?q=mobileapp
The app. was developed using the free online service Conduit.com, the same that provides the toolbar service to libraries and others.
The creation of the app. was very simple: News and programme are built on the RSS feeds generated by the Conference Website. Twitter, facebook and Flickr functionalities require a simple account setting.
More can be done for those with the necessary skills, but without any programming skills, the Conduit mobile already allows you to build a very nice app.!
The only barrier to deploy such an app. is the requirement of the different stores asking for a for fee developer account.
